Peter Pappas—School Social Worker/Counselor
Mr. Pappas moved to Washington from Idaho where he retired from public school service after holding roles as a school substance abuse counselor, emotional and behavior program teacher, special education teacher & administrator. He also has worked and advised privately as a licensed social worker. Prior to Idaho, Pete is from New Mexico where he began his career as a high school science teacher and successful track, wrestling, judo, and football coach. Pete has a robust history and experience in schools and specific talents in working positively and patiently with struggling students serving as a supporter and motivator to them. Pete holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Highlands University in New Mexico and teaching degrees from University of New Mexico.
